If you haul a lot of tarped steel or tarped lumber, maybe not go with Progressive.
Lumber brokers are few that won't work with them, steel seems much more picky. I ain't going into another steel plant, so no worries for me.
It seems that at one time Progressive didn’t pay claims due to water damage. Their policy has changed, but brokers aren't changing with it.
Tell me why I shouldn’t switch to Progressive for Insurance?

Speaking of Great West...has anyone else heard of GW(or the insurance agent) holding $1000 until you decide to leave GW??
I realized and asked my agent the other day about why my payments add up to $1004 over the quoted renewal price(I actually paid the $1004 up front).
He said Ill get that $1004 back when/if I decide to leave GW??
This is the exact quote.....The extra $1,004 you see is from your initial deposit. That deposit includes your first month’s payment plus the $1,004, which is fully refundable if you ever decide to leave Great West. -
Been with Great West 25 yrs. That has never happened here. I questioned your agent!nikmirbre and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
