Sorry for probably posting in the wrong forums. I'm new here. I didn't see tcw in employer list. Just wondering if anyone here knows anything about tcw out of birmingham Alabama as I'm going for the pee test and physical this morning. Not much info online about the company. Thanks

Kinda interested myself, there hiring around Charlotte, NC also. If you get hired there keep the thread going.

Well took the dot physical and was sent to a physical therapy test facility for some other crazy testing. But sounds like i start Tuesday or Wednesday on a night run from birmingham to Atlanta then back to Colombus Ms and back to Birmingham. Explained the miles and nondriving pay to be about $1000 weekly on this run. That's slot better than what ive been unloading trucks by hand for. Starting to look and smell very promising.$15 an hour for non drive time and down time. Sweet.
-
Sounds pretty good, what would be considered non driving time? Get loading and unloaded etc? Again pls update regularly if you can. Be safe!
-
Drop and swap time. Not much load or unload I'm told. And breakdowns and tire problems and such are $15/hour.driving=mileage pay. Everything else including on yard fueling is hourly at the $15.

Pretrip, drop/swap, in and out of the delivery points all pay the hourly rate.

They had a hiring event here in Greenville, SC. I didn't have a chance to attend but the only thing I can offer is that I see a lot of their day cabs pulling containers to and from the Charleston SC port. I believe they will have some sort of relationship with the inland port thats opening soon in Duncan SC. Keep us posted. I'm just not sure about hauling containers. They always seem pulled in the weigh station for one thing or another,i.e. overweight, lights not working and whatever else.

Yeah. They go from port to Atlanta. Well get them from Atlanta and take to railyard in Colombus Mississippi. He said u have to kinda pick your own good chassis to pull container on. He said some chassis are rough but you can get a descent one if you look. But anyway goodluck if you try tcw.

can you tell me what the mileage pay rate is? Thanks and keep us posted, good luck
