Being brutally honest, based on your posts that I've read, I'm not sure I would want to share the road with you.
RockinChair, Wargames, bryan21384 and 7 others Thank this. -
As a moderator, I don't usually make recommendations but I'll make the exception this time. Take the job with Spirit and stick it out for 6 months. Yes, you will likely get screwed but I assure you, it won't be the last time in your driving career that you get screwed.OldeSkool, bryan21384, High Stepper and 7 others Thank this.

Here ya go for the battery problem. You just twist the knob on this and battery is disconnected. It's what I used and I've had terminals that I left my truck in 140-200 miles away from home. Of course on those jobs I made sure that I could take the truck home for home time off.

That option would not work with my car for 2 reasons.
1. Wrong terminal connection.
2. Even with that small profile, there is not enough clearance between the battery terminal and hood.
Yes, it really is that close.
In fact, it is a remote terminal because the battery is mounted well below that point. To replace the battery you have to remove the inner fender well. The one california kid Thanks this. -
Wow! I've never seen a car that you had to do all that just to replace the battery! Is it a highly modified race car or something?
-
Quite a few vehicles these days it's a major issue just replacing the battery. It's not the 70's anymore.
