It's good that you are not giving up in trucking but you need to address something. Do you know why you had the accident? Do you know what you did to cause the accident? Do you know what you should have done to avoid the accident? Did the accident happen because of inexperience or because you were not paying attention? Did you fall asleep? Whatever the case may be take a look at the situation as a whole and learn where you can do better.
I have been around trucks most of my life and I consider myself a good driver but I still do the little things to make sure I am performing in a safe manner.
Make this a learning experience so you do not have this happen again. Next time it could be more serious. You will see drivers talking about protecting their CDL. This is one of those reasons. It doesn't take much for you to lose your CDL and be out of the trucking industry completely.
