That is a good question. Really is.
Swift offered training for x number of weeks(?)
Swift probably gave her accommodations for sleeping near by?
Swift had classroom, yard and road training?
Swift had 2 mentors for her? (more if she needed it)
Swift training was there each day, and trying to teach everyone?
Swift met the conditions of her contract?
as a side question or two, how many other students, from her class, and from the mentors she had, had the same problems as she did, and got fired?
Yeah, to me, a lawsuit is going to go no where's.
Terminated for accidents - What can I do to fix this?

Problem with todays industry and training is everyone is a bunch of robots meaning ppl don't speak up if they have issues. Then when they're turned loose and start having accidents its everyones fault but there own.
G.Anthony Thanks this. -
I doubt we will hear from the OP again, she didnt get the pitty party she was hoping for, and didn't like us all saying she is at fault and shouldn't blame other people for her hitting things.

When I got trained back in 2002 I felt I still wasn't ready to go solo so I asked Werner if they would put me with another trainer for a few more weeks and they did. Then my first solo load was to Canada and all my nervousness came back. But because of the extra training I was more aware of everything then with my first dose of training.

i rented a truck to pass the dmv test, didn't even go to a school, went to a friends company, told him i needed to be with another driver for a bit, and go figure they said you got it!
Paid attention, pratice a bit in the yard when i get back in the evening, but most importanlty just took my friggin time, more than once I've had to say oh F it and abandon a docking attempt just start over, I've done the ole Austin Powers 500 point turn at least twice and looked like a dang fool but after few short weeks things got better, and going super slow and safe stopped me from hitting anything.
There is no replacment for common sensepattyj, double yellow and Mike2633 Thank this. -
There ya go,there is no race in backing into a dock.Always get out and look don't let the other drivers intimidate you,its not like youre going to see them again.

Sorry didn't put blame soley on my mentors swift mentor recruiter when i told them about my train simply said your ok u passed with flying colors took me on road test i passed never tested me on backing sent to hotel for the evening sent me to Illinois to get my tractor and first load im not a baby and i can handle ur comments i didnt ask to be ridiculed just some advice and the mentor that wouldn't allow me to back other students under his mentoring has had backin incidents but swift lets him keep mentoring i have no intentions of sueing swift i just want to drive and right now i have to do the footwork for a company that will take me.
-
Some not all mentors at swift for us trainees are just a paycheck i and several dont think o_o should be mentors they get 10c less when we drive but pay of course is more for them when they mentor so they can pay for that 2015 truck thats a joke too

Start calling all the megas
Werner, JB Hunt, CR England, CRST, US Xpress, Prime ect ect-
I dont know if which ones would or wouldnt take you with a few accidents in a short amount of time, but start calling. Also check out local outfits, you never know what you might come up with if you just go knock on a few doors, also not sure if you want local or OTR but with a few dings on your record dont be to picky.
There are companies that give second chances, you'll find something just know it might not be the ideal driving job, but if you stick it out and get some good experiance and let some things fall off your record more options will open up down the roadcshellzbynow Thanks this. -
Don't refer to anything as "crashes" or "accidents", always use the word "incident" and let the trucking company take it from there.
that's when the company usually comes back with SORRY cannot hire you as you LIED on your APPLICATION , if you damaged something tell them they will eventually find out
Tonythetruckerdude and crzyjarmans Thank this.
