I just got terminated after only 1 week of training for not passing the road test and they said they are not willing to train me any further.

Does this go on permanent record? Will future companies know or can I just say I quit? I was only with them a short time so do I even need to put it on my application? Will they be able to pull it up in background check?

I'm sure Swift, if someone inquires, will say you were let go, for just cause. Terminated after 1 week? Any more to this story?

Not much to say, Im not too well seasoned yet but I know that. I hit the curb in a roundabout during the test, and I have never driven through a roundabout before so I didnt realize I needed to use both lanes to avoid that. Additionally there were a couple other issues the examiners over exagerated, like claiming I ran into a ditch in a right turn when mu trailer was just at the edge of the pavement. But again I have very little driving experience and am not that good. But they should not have been tested this soon (they said you only get road evaluation after 4 weeks training when I was first recruited. Why I got tested after 1 week is beyond me).

More like examiner claims I "ran the trailer through the ditch" when i watched it and it stayed on the pavement the whole time. Close to the ditch? Sure. But "in it"? Not by a longshot! Some horse s#%!

Move on to Western Express. They will give you more time to practice before putting you on the road. They will suck but get some experience and move on.

    Will not show on:
    Motor Vehicle Record
    Criminal Background

    Possibly will show on:
    HireRight/DAC type reports

Probably won't even report to DAC type stuff because you weren't a licensed driver.
