Would it be a good investment at $180k? Could you really pay it off in 2 yrs with the cost savings? No sleeper

The semi trucks do not seem practical at the moment for OTR. I haven’t seen any charging stations at truck stops. This tech makes more sense for UPS or FedEx or anyone who has lots of terminals. They can easily install charging stations in their terminals. 180k isn’t expensive, considering some Volvos may already cost the same. I, personally, wouldn’t buy any new tech unless it has proven to be useful. I’ll let the masses test it out for me.

Perhaps Tesla should be using their money to pay for the units already shipped? From more than one person, Ive heard that not only are they extremely late with payments, in some cases not even paying their bills, but also pushing brokers to 60 day terms and in most cases not even paying in 90.

Ive had more opportunity to haul Teslas but I’ll be ###### if Im going to drive to Fremont CA for a load of 7 or 8 going who knows where until the load is actually dispatched. Get there and be told, okay your load is going to Minneapolis. The load might be going there but I sure won’t be the one taking it. That’s no way to run a business. And Im sure all of these things are strategic moves by Tesla to show it’s stockholders how “bad the need” is for their own trucks.

There are more than enough carriers out here to handle any volume they need, but we don’t work for free.

I'm really surprised tesla is still in business.

Musk can't decide what he or the company is doing from one day to the next day.

Are the stores closing or not. ARe the cars gonna cost $40G or $35G. Does musk have a job or not. Why does it take so long to get refunds.

And they just announced a new model suv. The Y model. Starting at $39G. Who knows what you'll actually end up paying though. Or how long it will take.

If it wasn't for the "alternative fuel" market being heavily subsided he wouldn't be.
