Texan getting cold

    Starting sni school jan 15th wondering what kind of winter clothes I should take (never gets real cold here) when I go with my trainer.

    You said School...or you mean when you start training.

    Pants not shorts.
    A few Sweaters.
    A Heavy/Warm Coat.

    pants yes. long sleeve (flannel?) shirts, and maybe 1 or 2 short sleeve for the times you are in warmer weather. VERY warm coat, and lighter weight one as well when youre in your own truck. sweaters if you want. GLOVES (work gloves you need all the time, but winter also need warm winter gloves and probably want fingerless ones in addition) warm socks..2 pair should do. regular socks are good 80% of the time. hat and scarf. nice big fleece blanket or two.

    One thing I got for colder weather and have come in handy the last couple days here in Wisconsin are a nice pair of insulated Carhart work gloves. But everything else people have said. If flatbedder maybe consider alternate to steel toe for really cold. The steel will freeze your toes.

    Anytime I went out in a truck in winter, I took a sleeping bag. Sometimes you get stuck with no heat. You have to bundle up. Don't forget Schneider's new idle policies.
