Same thing happened in Arizona not so long ago, two perps tried to break into a woman's home and she shot 'em both dead. No charges filed either...

I recall an incident in Arizona where a guy driving past noticed a perp beating up a cop... the guy pulled over, stepped out of his vehicle and shot the perp just as the perp grabbed the cop's gun. The cops wound up giving that guy an award for good citizenship... no lie.

That's why I loved living in the boondocks of Arizona... there's virtually no crime in the boondocks, since the perps all know that even Grandma is strapped with a .44, and she might just "blow yer head clean off" as a form of redneck entertainment, lol.

 

You really should though. A sane, sober, and morally prudent victim will call 911 after he has defended himself successfully against a threat.

 

Key word is "after".

 

Happened in Indianapolis too. And the homeowners had it clearly advertised on their front porch!

What was the joke? A woman calls 911 and says "there's some burglars here! My husband trapped them in the greenhouse" dispatcher "we don't have anybody available for 30 minutes" "wait a minute, it's ok, my husband shot them, bye" The police show up in 2 minutes, and find the burglars alive in the greenhouse. "You said your husband shot them!""you said you're not available for at least 30 minutes'!"

 

Call for what? If you end the devil's work. Throw it in the trash and go on with your day!
