Good question. Like you, I was overseas for the whole pandemic and I was stuck inside watching the news. It made me half crazy. I thought I would get stuck there and thrown into a concentration camp for the unvaxxed. Unable to fly, work, go out in public. Shunned from society. Living in the mountains alone.

Came home and pretty much everything is normal, even behind the blue wall. My CDL school has no masks. NOT ONE PERSON. People share trucks, shake hands, have a good time. Went on job interviews. No word about the wuflu. Went out to dinner a bunch of times and it's fine. Hooters makes their waitresses wear masks, which is a joykill. Still a good time.

People are over it. Americans will not put up with another round of lockdowns and the last thing the country needs is more of a driver shortage. Read those COVID threads in the "truckers health" section. It seems 90% of truckers are anti jab and would gladly walk away if forced. Maybe they will replace us with Afghan refugees or Haitians coming in through Del Rio, who knows, but I don't think sleepy Joe wants to risk losing half of the transportation industry right now.

If the country collapses into a Communist hellhole there is nowhere else I'd rather be. I'm going down with the ship! Patriots unite!

 

Brandon's mandate is up for review today in a congressional subcommittee.. from what I read it looks like it will not be going anywhere anytime soon.... I can't find the article I read other wise I would post the link..sorry
