Texas DMV question about registering truck?

    For apportioned tags it used to be around $1850, but I heard they went up.

    I have in my notes about $1750 in 2018. I’m not sure if they charge differently for different makes, models, or years. My truck is a 2014 regular fleet high-roof sleeper truck.

    No two people will ever have the same charge for apportioned plates. Similar to ifta its based on miles ran in each jurisdiction and every jurisdiction has a different rate.

    I would just call crete. No experience with company paid plates. But talking to people that are on their companies plate plan, usually pay more $ for the plate. You may know this, but you can't leave and take your plate at most companies. If problems arise and tempers flare and you quit, then $ spent on plate is gone. Now you have a truck with no plate again.

    There’s no tax if you put an aportion tag on your truck and the tags will cost you depending on the states 1200 to 1300
