I want to say thanks to everyon s responses. I hit up another driver today and he showed me how to do it. It is very simple, but no one soiree me before. I've asked around here and there and guess what, they couldn't answer me. I had the right answer but I felt that it was only a guess so I doubted myself on that. I was correct and now I feel alot better knowing for sure. Thanks also for your graph Condo Cruiser . You wouldn't believe how many people cant do there books right. I usually haven't had to worry about recap. Resets have come to easy and frequent. Once again thankyou every one.:biggrin_25515:

If my 8/70 started on a Friday but I didn't use any time Saturday or Sunday (day 2/3) and now I'm at day 8 with say 3.5 hrs remaining when I go off, I will get the 3.5+ the 7.5 hrs back tomorrow (day 9) correct? Now if I use 8 hrs on day 9 leaving me with 3hrs remaining how many hours would I have the following day since I didn't use any hours on day 2 since that would be the one to fall off?

That link doesn't work for me, but Texas does have different intrastate HOS rules, and not just for the 150 mile exception:
    • Drive time is up to 12 hours instead of 11
    • Maximum shift is 15 hours instead of 14
    • 8 hour break instead of 10
    • 70 hours in 7 days instead of 70 hours in 8 days
    Texas Administrative Code
