Hey ya'll, I drive for UPS and I got a speeding ticket in Lampasas county..(54 in a 35)...Its my first speeding ticket in 7 years and my first ever with a CDL.....planning to fight it or at least talk to the prosecutor and try to plead it down to keep the "serious violation" tag off my MVR... any advice and/or experience I could get before I head into the belly of the beast would be much appreciated!:biggrin_2552:

Find an attorney; they know the game and the players, which is why you have to pay them the big $$$ to clean up your mess.

I paid 1300.00 for 70 in a 55 in Hill County, TX, expect something like that or more to get it removed with a lawyer. I was using that driver services (forget name) they offer at truckstops at the time, could have been cheaper if I got lawyer on my own.

You might not like it, but I hope they do not give you a break and you have to live with the ticket.

There is no reason for it.
