Bison is over 50% outside carriers now, i'm pretty sure they're all doing that at this point.

52% I can see it's accurate especially amongst the smaller carriers. The spot market Here in Canada is beyond discouraging and tough as nails. When I was leaving on a load going west. I spoke to a O/o who was waiting on a load going back to NL. He said, it difficult for a lot and after hearing about his financial debt I realized it not just myself. The majority of these Brokers are just ripping off the carriers wanting them to pull 44k lbs loads from BC to NB for less than $1.90 a mile when diesels now $1.73 and in Northern Ontario $1.85/litre. For some it's better they absorb the cost by not running for a couple days less otherwise you're running for fuel alone. Never seen it this bad since I entered this industry in the 90's.

There is no money in domestic ltl. Tfi should have bought Xpo, and folded Kindersleys network into theirs. That would make it a North American ltl powerhouse.

It’s confusing to me how TFI was even allowed to acquire The Siemens Group.
In 2019/2020 TFI attempted to acquire Apps Cartage. They required approval from the Competition Bureau which denied their request due to their significant share of the market already. Then somehow 3 years later they were allowed to purchase Siemens. (A company way bigger in that same segment).Magoo1968 Thanks this. -
