I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has shared his or her experience with USX on this forum (Good and Bad). Reading over everyones posts has really helped me with my decision to join the USX family.
I am headed to Markham for orientation on the 14th and I cant wait. I realize that no company is perfect and there will be many ups and downs as I begin my new career with USX. I like to think of it as a new adventure in my life.
Everyone be safe and I look forward to meeting many of you someday. I will post updates as I go through orientation and training.
Thank You USX Drivers

Thanks everyone for your support, I appreciate it.
This past week I have seen 2 USX day cabs in my area. I saw one in Wheeling IL and the other headed north towards Wisconsin on I-94 by the Lake Forest oasis. Anyone have any info on USX day cab division. -
That would be Xpress Global. You now know as much as i do

I made it through orientation and was hired! The orientation staff at Markham was great, couldn't have asked for anything better. I also had a chance to meet many drivers that were there at the terminal. So many drivers were offering advice and sharing their experience with USX. Everyone had positive things to say about USX.
Our class stared with 11 and only 5 of us made it through. We lost 5 on the first day because they did not pass the physical. Then on the last day we lost one more because they could not verify past employment.
I was scheduled to leave with a trainer yesterday after orientation but it turned out the trainer said he was not ready to take a student. My training coordinator is going to call me on Monday and let me know what the game plan is. I was actually pretty excited because I was the only one out of our class who had a trainer lined up. Everyone else was told maybe next week or after Xmas is when they would have one.
So far everything has been great. I would have liked to have gone out with a trainer right away but I understand trainers are short right now with the holidays. While I was waiting in the terminal for my wife to pick me up I even had 2 USX drivers offer to give me a ride. Though that was really nice of them. Have been impressed with USX so far. -
The Holidays are over...hopefully they found you a trainer and you are running down the road.
JackDylan Thanks this. -
Thanks hobotruckers. I actually went out with my trainer last Thursday. Unfortunately it only lasted two days. Not by my doing. I won't go into details but my trainer got into some trouble with the company for something he did before i got on the truck with him. So they took me off his truck. I have a new trainer lined up and i am headed out with him on Tuesday. Looking forward to getting back out on the road .
