I generally don’t worry about what arrogant pricks think.

Usually I don't either....but that Insinuation rubs me wrong
But I have learned over the years that the ones that make that comment are the ones that are too broke to pay attention anyhow

It will be one year this May that I started getting paid by the hour. I’m out a couple of nights a week and am off most every weekend. Average around 65 hrs a week. Get 45 dollars a day per diem. Last paycheck from two weeks ago I netted around 1500 for the week. My Benifits aren’t as good as my last job and I can’t give specifics unless I get off the couch to get may paycheck stub. When I want to work more there is more work available. I’m good

As big as this industry is and as diverse as it is the arrogance of assuming every one is in the same boat and they have some how figured out how they are smarter than the rest. That’s a burr under my saddle. While we are all truck drivers that’s about where the common ground ends.

Every segment has different struggles and challenges. Even with in a segment there are different challenges.

Then to just make a blanket statement that someone must be a company plant or run cheap is BS

I know around a dozen people who've done exactly that, for 30 years or more some of them. Not one has ever "ended up in a horrible situation" as you put it. It's all in knowing your own limitations. I know people who can't drive a few hours without falling asleep, should you only be allowed to drive as long as they're able to?

Don't know about you but I can't wait to hear all these ELD lovers crying about not being able to make ends meet here in about 2 or 3 months. Once upon a time when rates weren't what they should be a guy could just run a few more hours a day and be able to make it through, not anymore and nobody deserves to go broke more than those who demanded government tell them how long to work.

Nobody has ever been able to tell me a workable definition of "greed". Care to take a swing at it?

The definition of "greed" is just like the definition of "cheap freight".
    Everyones definition is different.
