Thanks for the helpful responses to my legal rights thread. I appreciate your advice & help to those who read and believe what happened to me by a team driver. This is not made up & I posted inkpenandpaper@yahoo.come
because I'm trying to get some helpful advice from truckers. I have been looking into why this crazy creep wasn't arrested for what he did to me and it makes no sense to me either that they let this Guy drive away in the truck. When I asked why he was not being arrested. I was told a few days later via phone call to law enforccement that. Becaause I had no broken bones and I wasn't dead they considered the assault from the team driver a minor offense. I still have to find out more because this makes no sense that this Guy was trying to kill me and kept saying it repeatedly while hitting and choking m me and. Then threw me out of the truck and afterwards when I walked and saw and talked to the trucker who was parked. And he saw my injuries and called the law and company and ambulance.....after going thru all of this and I was I in the ambulance getting checked and pictures were taken I myself do not understand why this crazy Guy was not arrested and held jailed or something. I do not know why law enforcement let him drive away in the truck and yes they told me they gave him a citation and were letting him go because the load had to be delivered. Sorry for any typos and thanks for everyone's help and advice. Any bit of information and good advice will help.

As the past weeks since this happened I've had to deal with a lot of crap and being treated. As if this didn't happen. I'm just seeking some positive and helpful info from people and also thought that fellow truckers might be able to give me some helpful advice. Thank you to those who have done so.

 

Hi I have been trying to find out as much as I can. I did find out that the officer did not include in the report that this crazy Guy repeatedly kept saying over and over he was going to kill me. Also the officers didn't include the information that this crazy Guy sent me some crazy text messages while I was at the hospital. They wrote in the report that he hit slapped and choked choked me nothing was written about him saying he was going to kill me and that he pushed me out of the tractor trailer. I don't understand this this crazy former team driver has basically gotten to walk away from attempted murder because the law didn't include everything I told them that happened in the report. This of awful. And when I call I get the runaround from them. First I was told this information can be added to the report now I'm told it can't be added. Then I was asked if I was this crazy guys girlfriend several to times. I was not this crazy guys girlfriend we were team drivers and nothing more. I was also told that he should be fired for. Hitting choking and threatninh me and sending those creepy messages bit he is still driving. This crazy Guy tried to kill me & I guess because I'm not dead I'm being treated as if it didn't happen. The only definite proof I have are the pictures that were taken of the marks & injuries when he was choking me my busted lip & other injuries when this crazy Don threw me out of the truck. I don't know what else to do. This Guy should not be out there driving. Hopefully no one else will team drive with him. And because the law didn't include some of the most important stuff I told them that he did & said to me repeatedly while he was choking me he gets to pay a fine to the court for what they told me was classified as a minor offense and he gets to walk away and still drive after trying to kill me. Attempted murder. This is unbelievable!

To madmax its your choice and those are typos. I understand there are some who would not believe what happened to me. To each his or her own choices and what they want to think about it. But I do know if this happened to you or someone you loved you'd believe it and be very concerned. But negative responses don't help so I accept the positive and helpful responses.
