I think you are missing a file for the NaviVoices. I can either remote to your computer and then to the tablet to check or CS can. If missing the file then we can move it across the remote link.

I wanted to verify if the speaker was working which it is, so this narrows it down.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Sorry, hadn't made it in here. Been busy.

All of a sudden speaker started working. Crazy I know.
I hooks it to WiFi through a mobile hotspot on my phone. It started working instantly. I have no idea how to relate that.

I did however find I cannot open PDFs, word no docs at all. Not sure why. I downloaded a PDF viewer, word for android etc.

Aside from the volume being way quieter then the 720 I had even at full blast, I love the tablet. Couple hiccups but so far so good

If you are thinking of taking the truck GPS and moving it to another tablet, it will not work. Too many items are tied to the tablet it is build on.

    Thanks,

Did you download the Adobe PDF Reader?

    Thanks,

Are there any plans on releasing the app in Google or Apple app stores?

Also posted in the support thread:
I bought a tablet about a month ago and it has been working great. Today, I decided to try dock it for the first time and add a few POIs. So I downloaded the dock software and tried to install it but it keeps saying to plug the gps into the laptop. I hit YES that it is connected but it wont let me go past that screen in the installation. My tablet is connected and recognized by the laptop but the dock software acts like its not plugged in and wont let me finish the install. Any help?

The tablet does not use the "Dock" like the GPS does. So, the Dock is always going to tell you to plug in the GPS if you have a tablet plugged in. We'll need to wait for Mark to check in as far as how to add custom POI's to a tablet though.

I don't think you can use it as a wired connection. I use the bluetooth method.

Also, how do you update the maps without dock software. The Rand site gives instruction using the dock software to register for the free lifetime maps.
