How do you transfer your address to the TND Tablet

 

How do you transfer your address book to the new TND Tablet, I copy the file Address Book from my TND 730, but the Tablet won't connect to my laptop

 

On my TND 8 inch, when I click on check for updates nothing happens.
Tried rebooting.
Tried verifying all the files.

 

A few steps you need to do.

Connect your tablet to the computer.
On the Tablet, press the button on the front bottom.
Tap on the 9 squares in the upper right.
File Manager
Bottom right tap on the 3 dots
Settings
Show hidden Files/Folders - tap on box on right.
press back button till you see the Apps again.

Settings.
Storage.
Tap on the 3 dots upper right.
Tap on USB computer connection.
Tap on USB Large Storage.

Unplug the USB cable and then reconnect.

You should see the green Android man.
Tap on "turn on usb storage" bottom right.
Click on OK.

You should get an Explore window on your computer, if not open one.
Look for TND 70 or 80 depending on what you have.
Double click on .navi
Double click on User
You should see a folder now for the address book. Drop your file in that folder.

With the setting above you only have to do once. Each time you connect you will see the Android man.

I have not seen updates for a little while. Hopefully soon. I queried RM about this.

Mine is connected to the Internet almost always and the only thing that updates is the android apps and Google apps.
I bought a HD100 ELD and connected it to my tablet and still the only thing that updates is only the elogs app. Pretty sick that I paid almost $500 for it and the maps are outdated and NONE of the poi ratings are there like they are on the 530/730.

 

Maps are not released yet. I have asked for a by date..

As for POI's they were taken out from sharing when the comments could not be responded to by the truck stops that had comments entered about them.

Tablet wasn't used for a year.

Trying to update and can't get anything to update. Not sure how to just update all.

Says its full. There is literally nothing on this tablet but a few pictures and what came with the tablet.

Bought a 32 gig as card but nothing is working and factory installed stuff can't be put on SD card... What to do? Not to mention, battery life is down to less then an hour

 

A little more info.

When I go to storage it has a spot for internal storage which shows none available, then a spot below it where it says 4gb available. Just no room to update. It is virtually factory stock with transflo and Facebook apps. Nothing more

Why is there two internal memories? Why is it full with a factory reset now without downloading anything else!

 

You have 4.6 gigs available out of 16 gigs. Don't know you got 2 partitions though..but your memory isn't full.
