Hmm .. If it were my truck it would be the opposite .. I get better fuel MPG in TX, AR/midwest than I do in the east mainly because it's flatter I believe. However, being winter time might have something to do with it too. Running in bad weather doesn't help the fuel mpg, that's for sure.

Fortunately, I've missed most of the crap weather. Only got caught in it twice. I will chalk it up to the fuel mixture for right now.

Just look at it as getting all the bad juju out of the way! Get it out of the shop and get rolling!mickimause Thanks this.

Just curious, is there a reason you are using a dealership...(clears throat) I mean, stealership to do your PM versus using somewhere like speedco?
-
Latest is that it *should* be done by 5. Fingers crossed!
Should I roll tonight, or wait until tomorrow and get an early start?
I think wait, so I can run during the day rather than at night for now, although I am thoroughly sick of this hotel room...

The big reason I take the truck somewhere else for the PM (as opposed to doing it myself) is to have a second set of eyes on the truck, catching something that I may have missed otherwise, not to mention dealing with 48 quarts of oil is a bit of a PITA. I think the dealership I go to is a decent one, and I'd much rather a good tech have his hands on my truck than someone whose only goal is to pound as many trucks through the bay in a day as possible. Other than some miscommunication between SFI and the dealership, I have been happy about the thoroughness of the previous PM that was done on my truck, so they will continue to get my business.

Crap. I just booked a nice paying load to Richmond. Just found out its Frito Lay. I remember reading about your Frito Lay adventure earlier in this thread and praying I wouldn't have to go there. Lol.

seeing as you are online now at 1910 and not rolling I assume the truck is either NOT done or you decided ,IMO, smartly to run tomorrow during daylight.mickimause Thanks this.

Truck is done - picked her up at 1600. Decided to run in the daylight tomorrow. Figured it was the smart thing to do.
Besides that, I have a feeling my DBL would come unglued if I left tonight. I don't have anything in my workflow, no pre-assigns and obviously nothing active. I'm not sure support shift could give me anything, anyway; haven't been running long enough to know yet what they can and can't do. What I know so far is that they didn't make the decision to pull my loads on Wednesday when I had truck trouble, and they did get me a hotel for the night. -
well until you DO get a load do not move. Do you have your dbl'S number? Might send a message in to support or maybe call in might be better, that you are able to roll at whatever time you want to start. Are you in the truck now? Set your NAT for roll time.
