I would remove those strips and if you want any stripes, I would go with the regular "winding road" stripes![]()

Digging around on the IC crossroads I found this today, here's Schneiders official stance on logging Line 5:
My suspicions about the APU were right too - turning the interface ON and the APU power control ON but setting all the heat/cool and fan controls until they are off puts the APU in "null mode" according to the manual - at this point it is just monitoring battery voltage, and when the voltage drops to a certain point it starts up and stops when the voltage reaches another point. Its started up a few times because my fridge, etc., are still on and running, its nice knowing that I can set it up like this to keep my batteries charged without having to do something silly like having the heat or AC come on too.
Service wise the APU appears to have been serviced when the PM was done, oil looks brand new.
I found the data plate in the glovebox and the transmission is one of the Eaton convertible 9-speeds that can be converted to a 13speed (and it obviously has been done on this truck), I had a feeling it might be one of those, kind of a neat idea. As I expected it is rated for up to 1650ft/lbs of torque.
Got all my groceries loaded up for the week, gave the truck a quick wash and we'll be ready to roll tomorrow morning. I've been in touch with Schneider twice since I got home to make sure that I'll have an empty set up for tomorrow morning. I'll get up about 6am and send in a request if there still isn't a pickup task, I'll give them an hour to get me something then I'll start blowing up the phones. If I'm late for the pickup due to an empty search I can't say I didn't try LOL.
Rocket1949, Grijon, Kutina and 3 others Thank this. -

I live in brown summit, they sent me all the way to south boston, va , to pick up an empty. one other time they sent me to salem, va. I was told there are not any empties in my area. Even though P&G and Kmart DC, is in my area.

DFO, how does the load board look with all the loads? Is it pretty packed or are you having to search deep for a good enough load? Ive heard its slim pickings. And have you thought about making a vlog while your out? I saw you've got a couple ride along videos on YouTube but maybe a few with your story's. Thatd be pretty sweet. Subscribed

I started out lining up 3 loads in advance. Then issues with customer service screwups (bad dates and times,) shipper delays, road shutdowns and the like came up. I just stay one ahead now and constantly keep an eye out for the next load. Learning the decent paying freight lanes has been adventure all unto itself. That $500 stays in the back of my mind constantly. I want to make sure the current assignment is completed on time and without issues.
