Well if the customer wants the trailer to load it SNI isn't going to tell them no.. Sometimes the customer just doesn't have any... It's a crap roll of the dice some customers at times will release and sometimes won't.. There are a few I know that usually won't but you just never know!

I see you're a wannabe, so here's a good lesson. So, you go to the MegaMart Distribution Center to pick up a trailer. Guard or lady in traffic says, "we're not releasing empty trailers." And you, being a dedicated employee say, "look, pinhead, I work for Schneider and if it says 'Schneider' on the side of it, I'm hooking to it and leaving."

So, here's the question(s), if you actually make it on the yard, what do you think your chances of getting off the yard before the law shows up and arrests you for trespassing?
Second, if by chance you are able to spirit that beautiful orange trailer away, how long do you think Schneider will take before they tell you to bring yourself, your tractor, and your newly liberated trailer to the nearest yard and clean yo' stuff out?

As to your second point / question, shippers needs change from day to day. Today they may be releasing trailers, tomorrow, maybe not.....ya just never know.

BTW, how do you get to be a Road Train Member and a wannabe all at the same time???

A lesson back at you...... Wannabe keeps a lower profile....

Closing in on 40 years driving.........

You could say my boss needs that trailer and you aren't loading it till Friday or whenever . We'll replace it before then.
If you have any problems call my boss.... And if your boss had a spine the problem would be solved.....

Just feel sorry for you guys chasing mt trailers....

I think it happens frequently enough that the guardshack will tell you "no empties" but if you talk to someone in the office they'll tell you something completely opposite.

Great looking truck chickwing, love the color, Crimson! That's the exact color I would have chosen. Now, the only thing you need is an Alabama Crimson Tide tag on the front of that beauty, Roll Tide Roll driver!
