I understand your point off view but...........you wil check if the balloonpayment is less then the resalevalue off the truck?
If secondhand truck are selling at high prices at the end off your lease,it might be worth more then the balloon.
If so pay the balloon and sell it.:yes2557:

The ballon payment on mine is $66,000. I suppose there's a VERY SLIM chance that the truck might be worth enough to maybe break even, but I have my doubts. Even then, breaking even does nothing for me at all, since I'll have to give that money directly to SFI, and start back at square one.

Is the freight base still pretty decent in Tennessee?

I see a lot going in and out of TN, but I don't truck there much, if it all, so I can't say how the customers are.

Just got to my pickup down here in SC. Sure enough, instead of being the drop and hook that was shown on the load board, its a live load. And there are a good 20-25 other trucks here when I arrived. Who knows how long this might take. My appointment is at 1600 and I was here about an hour early, so we'll see how this goes. Hopefully not long. I don't want another repeat of last week.

    Drifter42 Thanks this.

I'm curious about something. When you're looking at the load board is there a comment section where the drivers can give their own info about shippers and receivers or are these wait times entered by Schneider?

No. There is no comment section. The wait times are supposedly taken from the time the drivers put into workflow.

It's an average taken from all of the drivers who have been to that facility and how long they spend there according to the "Customer Live Load/Unload" task in the workflow.
