THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE - DFO gets a truck and hops on Schneider's IC Choice Program

Depends on where i am at. About 2 weeks or so I dragged a empty all the way to Savanna from Louisiana then bt to Nashville to pu a empty only to drop it 3 blocks to pu a preloaded. About 1200 miles of no freight. Savanna and most Georgia area is bad for emptys. Midwest I don't have a lot of issues.

 

Damnnn DFO, gonna miss u by a day, next dispatch has me goin to ATL

 

Believe it or not...lately i have been talking to a couple of IC's that are running mileage, and they are doing pretty good...I might go that route once i purchase mines

 

That's when I am planning on going to GB Drifter42 just tidying up some things and topping off the accounts. Hope to see you and anyone from the forum out there on the "Payvment"

 

There is nothing wrong with mileage at all, but the beauty of Choice to me is that it's all on me and not a dispatcher sending you to wherever although on mileage the deadhead is paid. I was asked the question about why Choice over mileage? My response was well I'm not sure if I could dispatch 50-60 drivers better than a dispatcher, but I'm pretty dang sure I could dispatch 1 better LOL.

DFO,reading your travels makes me realise that the workproblems i sometimes have, are small compared to what you have to deal with.
