I love calling the support shift lately. We are experiencing "higher than normal volume of calls." What BS, if it happens once in a while that would be "higher than normal." If it's every friggin' day then that means you are understaffed. 30min anytime I have to call lately.

Well another update on the truck decision. I've decided not to go with the 09 Cascadia, instead I found a 2011 Blue Cascadia with 307K and a diesel apu. It also has a 450 cummins and a 13 spd with 3.58 rears. Waiting on the ecm report. I would have liked to start by the end of this month to get the 2K they put in your maint. acct during the month of April, but I just don't want to jump on just anything just to get that. I'm sure I'm about about to worry my rep. to death LOL. There is also a 2013 that has a diesel tripac as well, but has the dd15 10 spd with 2.64 rears. Nice looking truck though.

I went by the GB OC last week and saw some really sweet looking trucks facing the highway. Kinda wished we were driving those instead of these fleet trucks.

Well, had a good long convo with dfo yesterday. Hopefully my stories weren't boring lol. Maybe I could narrate his made for TV movie when it comes out?

"it was a long and dreadful day, with only the cross Bronx expressway standing in between me and the Kearney drop yard"

Hey guys, sorry to jump off topic here, but I have a question for the current ICs.

Have you guys had any problems with load paperwork not being submitted in time to make it onto your paycheck? I've had two Mondays this month where I delivered in plenty of time, submitted my paperwork, and didn't get paid for the load until the next check. It's getting really old. Instead of taking home my $1300 paycheck this week, I'm now getting nothing, because someone didn't bother submitting my load that delivered on Monday. I'm in the hole with SFI and that'll be another late fee next week.

There is no reason why these loads can't be submitted on time. I called SFI to ask them if they've been seeing this issue, and apparently it's not unheard of. They told me to get in touch with my ICA, and if that doesn't resolve it, then my ICAs boss.

I was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem on a recurring basis.

Oh, and a special note to anyone who might want to know - there is no requirement in our lease that we must stay running with Schneider. SFI told me directly today that I can transfer to another carrier at any time as long as they approve that carrier as paying high enough rates to be able to cover the truck note and expenses.

If you don't complete the load by mid day Monday it's pretty much going to go on the next paycheck. Not sure what the cutoff time is exactly but it's probably like 12 or 1pm (guesstimate). I'm a company driver and that's how it is for us. I highly doubt there is any difference for you. And I also don't think it has anything to do with paperwork submission, just when you complete the order on the Qualcomm. So if you are delivering that load Monday afternoon it won't go on that paycheck from what I've seen

Cutoff time for pay varies widely, so I have been told. I have delivered as late as nine pm on Monday and gotten paid on that Friday. I always call in on Monday afternoon after my last load delivered to make sure everything closed out and I am getting paid. Maybe you should do that and see what the problem is?
I was told by my ICA that if the load closes out correctly through workflow then I will get paid on it. That's why I always call and check.
