BTW There is a Bulk yard in Houston much nicer than the yard you were at. Quiet and lots of parking. One of them in El Monte CA too. Nobody tells you about them though. I only know because we had relay pick ups at both so whole I was in Fontana one night I asked driver service if they had a list and they printed me something with all the dropyards etc.

I will be working out of Houston starting the end of the month. After reading this and talking to a lot of Schneider drivers I think I am making the right choice moving over there. Now this thread really has me interested in the Choice program on the Tanker side of the ouse...

OK, thanks. I will call recruting back today to verify that. Even the milage pay for tanker still works out to a decent settlement.

Absolutely correct. No choice program for bulk. Mileage only. Although they did just increase the mileage pay for bulk O/O. If i remember correctly it is 1.55 for all dispatched miles. Don't hold me to that number though, I pull vans...

Fixin' to call Jose back. I am really thinking this may be the way to go. I already spoke to the Finance side, they have a 2010 T660 with the 450HP ISX and 13 speed already in Houston.

I still don't see anything about choice with bulk. Looks like mileage @ $1.155/mile + fuel surcharge, maybe plus some extras like load/unload pay? I don't know.

I wouldn't get into a lease on any kind of mileage pay system. Too high of a truck payment and someone else controlling your miles. Choice is a different story, but it's not perfect either.
