Thanks...I've been following all the IC threads with great interest. I'm a longggggg way from even considering IC, but education is education and I'll soak it all in, especially from those who do know.Last edited: Apr 4, 2014

It's got no apu
other than thAt and a squeaky serpentine idler as well as weird steer tire wear it looks good. They gave me no options in kw's... Interesting that people are saying there are some available. 1 truck in Charlotte and 1 in portland. The csr took a 3 day weekend I guess so I'm hanging til Monday. Got the drug tests out if the way though. I left him a msg, said fix this stuff I'll take it. Not buying a 90k truck with no apu.

There's talk that they will do a trial for bulk choice, just like there is talk that they are going to trial team van choice. Right now team van and bulk are milage only
-
They did have a couple of T660's the other day a 2011 and I think 2 2008"s. Now if you are willing to wait, they will have a couple of cascadia's toward the end of May. Mine is not supposed to be ready until May 26th,but I'm willing to wait to get at least some of what I was looking for. A diesel apu, 13 spd and not just a company specd truck. These are all in Green Bay.

Get a 660 then add the sun roof if it doesn't already have it.
-
They have a couple Midroof 660s in Houston. Don't know if those are for tankers only though.

I called and they failed to tell me that team's were mileage only. I specifically asked if teams could run the choice program and they said we could.

I'm not a fan of the 660's. I'd rather have a Cascadia. The shop guy said it has a bunk heater, it had a white plastic looking fan thing that resembles a home ac unit at the back wall of the lower berth. I'm pribably going to take it, depends on what they say at Sfi Monday about my questions.

Interesting, I might check into that, I've noticed that sometimes I won't get messages on my QC until I start doing something on it, like changing screens or whatever. Couldn't hurt to try anyways.
Personally I wouldn't need that much in savings, since everything on the truck that could break down and cost that much is under warranty. But I would recommend that anyone who starts this program have at least 2 - 3 months of personal expenses saved up. That was my original plan before things went south at my last company so rapidly I couldn't react. And I would definitely recommend the $10,000 in savings if you're purchasing a used truck that's out of warranty.
Funny thing is, I have right around $3,000 in my maintenance account, but of course everything on the truck is actually working ROTFL.
