I will move into a cardboard box, eat food from the trash, and wash myself with rainwater before I return to that place in Pasadena. That was and still is the worst place I've been to while I've been here.

I've only delivered to Home Depot in Dallas once, and waited 1 hour and 37 minutes just to get in the gate. Would rather not do that again unless it is the only way I can get home.

Not a big fan of Hawkins either, loads are way too #### heavy. But once I get back to Texas (assuming I ever do LOL), I'm gonna try running a bunch of small loads around the state for a week and see how I do. I think I've just been missing out because I'm not checking the load board early enough, and I've met A LOT of drivers from Texas, so I imagine there's a lot of competition down there.

Hahaha you nailed it, meanwhile in DFO's world I've been delivering to the same 3 customers for the past week and a half, spending every other night in Carlisle and 4 nights this week will have been spent in my own bed at home. I'm gonna milk this run I've found for all its friggin worth. It isn't anything special and I'm certainly not getting rich off of it but life is GOOD right now.

my wife and I are in our mid-50's....raised a family...we owe no debt, and don't intend to owe...i'd rather be free and without than to be owned by the banks...but that's just me.

it is possible to live a debt-free life into old age....

That's good you should be nearly debt free at that age. I still have 12 years on my property, and 2 years on my avalanche. So when I hit my 50s I'll b debt free.

    Bobcat Tail Thanks this.

That is true. But dam 150k tractor paid in 3_5 years is better then paying for property 20 years.
