THE ADVENTURES CONTINUE - DFO gets a truck and hops on Schneider's IC Choice Program

I'm in my truck...which is apparently 4 miles closer to the fuel islands than you are...bobtail, and double stacked, at that. If you won't get all butt-hurt about me being in sweats and a t-shirt, I will wander back inside.

Didn't you get the memo in orientation today's trucking is from 5am to 5pm. Parking is crazy. Charlotte oc would have a fit if they saw all those bt on the transit line.

 

Um, no. No saggy britches, no stains, and a very limited audience.

Quite unlike the SNI driver here earlier yesterday in his greasy, holey, 2 sizes too small t-shirt, hair that could be used to lube an axle, and dripping grease from breakfast. Ugh!!! No wonder we don't get any respect as an industry...

And I didn't start the bobtail line, I just added to it...probably the last one, too, considering how many other trucks were here.

 

There probably weren't any BT spots anyway. Gary is the one OC where I don't mind BTw parking in transient. My beef is with the guys staggering back the second line so there isn't space for a third.

 

I have a issue with it if one does it they all do it. I've been there and seen more bt on the front row then combos.

 

There are only 2 OC' s I like , Edwardsville and Carlisle . The last time I was at Edwardsville a disgruntle driver ram his truck into the OC. Then killed himself.
