What's there at Charlotte or is it better at GB for orientation

 

man, not nuttin'. A convenience store and a walk up burger joint.....seriously......heaps better in GB

 

Yeah there wasn't much of anything near the hotel in Charlotte. And it was a little tricky trying to find freight out of there when getting our trucks. Green Bay is likely much better, although I haven't been to Green Bay myself.

 

I may try to get swapped to GB

 

I hear the hotel is good at GB also

 

GB isn't much better as far as finding freight out of there after orientation. I ran to MN for my first load, most everyone else ran to IL or IN to get a load.
Good news is that they pay $1.35 for you to B/T to your first load

Does anyone know what the hotel for GB is if we want to go a few days early? What is the rate per day? Thanks.

 

It's the Settle Inn, on Packerland. Something like $35 a night, I think. Take your bathing suit and enjoy the hot tub!

 

they'll tell ya when they send yo' stuff......friendly folks though....they'll hook you up (can't say as much about Charlotte, though......tiny bit getto and attitudes to go with it). green bay folks are the salt of the earth, though.
