I have been with them for about 5 weeks now. But by my choice have only taken off 3 days. As it was said earlier "Such is the life of an Owner Operator".

Yes you will take a road test along wi th coupling, uncouple, pump down and backing. Also a review of your logs. Entire process should take an hour.

Can someone explain why you have to put a seal on, when hauling frito lay loads. No one check the bills anyway, hell the janitor sign my bills.

    mickimause and stevep1977 Thank this.

So looks like I might be making the move over to choice. Going to go through sfi for the truck. Debating with myself which way to go. New truck vs gently used. There are good arguments for both and I'm at a little bit of a loss on what to go for. What made the decision for you guys?

I just like having a full factory warranty on it. It was a little bit of peace of mind.

as goes for 99% of what I pull......but heaven help that 1 guy decides not to note "seal intact" and you (allegedly) get hit with a $500 fine. Most of my Frito is D/H at a dark location

    mickimause Thanks this.

I'd go new by time you pay truck note and maintenance the payments equal about the same... On new ones they sometimes have sign on bonuses if you do new.

Same can be said why put seals n locks on empty trls, scrap loads etc? Company policy, cargo management prevent strangers from hooking a ride. Who knows what there reasoning are.

    TennMan Thanks this.
