I wish more t800s were built and purchased with a sleeper for standard otr hauling would love to buy one used. Still a classy truck but i would imagine a little more manueverable than a w900. All the used ones i see are set up for heavy haul or daycabs. Beautiful truck thanks for the pictures. Yours looks like it has the set back front axle right?

Well we wrap up this short week today back up in the Carlisle OC.

Here is how my short week went. Pretty happy with it.

3: $99 (not a complete fill up just enough to finish up my run without running too low for comfort with a heavy load)

Total odometer miles (including from home to 1st pickup, which is 81 miles, and about 30 miles OOR on one trip to go up Fancy Gap to show my dad when he was riding with me instead of taking goatpath up to Roanoke which actually isn't bad night)

Actual will be a little bit lower because when I took off a week I paid my truck payment from my bank account, but that doesn't include insurances so that rolls over to the next week so I'll have those come out of this settlement. Also started the week with half a tank of fuel, ended it with about a quarter, just something to keep in mind for numbers. Still happy with it, all drop and hook at customers that I like going places I like to go.

Thats not bad, lets turn the numbers around.
At that rate, should you be in a new truck it would basically take everything you grossed for 5 years to pay for the truck. Which would put you right in line with the industry average of and average operating ratio of somewhere between 96 and 97. My question is?
Why would schneider be so gracious to you?

 

My new truck payment including all insurances and fixed costs are 1134.73 per week not much more than DFO so how would a new one take all his gross. It don't take all of mine but maybe I'm missing something. How do you come across your number 6 speed

 

I imagine Schneider has to compete with other load boards to some degree.
