I'm still learning all I can from my agent at ATBS.

Good service so I'm not sure if I'll cancel or not at the end of 6 months.
I figure it may cost a bit..but worth it for the piece of mind.

hey man, if it works for you, rock on. For me, all I really need is an accounting service to do my taxes, so ATBS is really wasted money in my situation. But, if they provide you with guidance to run your business, I say keep on keepin' on,bub.

I left ATBS last month, they are awful. They never could get my settlements straighten out. I'm going back with CBSI out of Indy, they are pretty good. I was using them before ATBS. I never like them keeping my receipts. With CBSI they mail your receipts back to you.

I used atbs at Crete. I liked the fact that they could get expense information directly from Cretes computer so I didn't have to do it. Plus, I just filled out expense sheets monthly, but kept my receipts. This way , if something happened to my receipts, they had the expense sheets in their records. I am single with no house. If my truck were to burn / get stolen I would lose a few years worth of receipts.

So far I'm not very impressed with atbs as well, but I still have 3 more months to see any improvements.

Maybe it depends on your agent?
So far he has been on time with my profit/loss statements and ready and available to explain everything.
Seems it's all over the place about how effective they are.

My wife is an accountant/financial analyst so SHE is the one learning the in's and out's of the trucking side of taxes.
She will be doing all the tax work by the time the 6 months are up..more than likely.

Hey, DFO have you been to Texas lately or the Midwest? Are you still running Carlisle to Charlotte then back home? We need to hear more stories.. Maybe you can take a trip up northeast with dogals and sadwar. I been thinking about taking a load up there, but then again screw it!! I don't have the patience to drive up there.

    mickimause and tynodine Thank this.
