Walmart store employees? Yeah, sucks unless you move up into department management and put in years. Walmart drivers? That's the one profession that walmart actually takes seriously.

And in regards to not getting your sign on bonus, your recruiter was/is responsible for setting up the bonus. If you aren't getting your bonus that means the recruiter screwed up and forgot to set it up.

I figured he meant store. Driving would be great if you lived near a DC.

Walmart has some pretty good home time packages for drivers, like 6 days on 3 off, 5 days on 2 off, 2 weeks on 1 off, etc etc

and, not to be unkind, but if one of your big issues with Schneider is that they won't loan you money, you've got bigger problems that don't and never will belong to Schneider. Clean up your own backyard first......

Upset because you can't get an "advance"? What? How would you start as an IC and not have enough money banked to cover a few months of no revenue? Just like Dipschitt, I'm not throwing stones at you, but if you have a big family to support and need advances, you really are just one breakdown from going out of business. By the way, that breakdown will happen, even if you have a new truck under warranty, your wages aren't under warranty, so even if you don't have to pay for the repair, the week it's in the shop will be no income in the bank, PLUS the truck payment ect. don't stop. I wish everyone great success in their journeys, but set yourself up for success, not failure. Failure is too easy, you need all the ammunition against it you can get. In this business that means CASH! :biggrin_2557:

I guess I can understand his frustration, but unrealistic expectations lead to frustration. I have learned from my mistakes and it was a miserable learning experience. I was a L/O 7 years ago with CRE. Horrible experience. Worked my butt off and never saw my family. I LEARNED to 1) Never lease a truck from the company I'm driving for, and 2) Never let a dispatcher control me when I have a truck payment. These are the reasons I got my own truck this time and I'm going to Schneider orientation for the Choice program Jan. 5th. Life teaches lessons. It's up to us to learn from them.

I also noticed that. He/she will probably never be heard from again. I noticed that he/she just joined this month so I figure that they did not plan and research the company. Someone probably told them how good it was and you can make plenty of money like I have seen on threads before and they thought that is for me.
