PitchforkedPineapple Thanks this. -
I know I have read it in here somewhere but how much is it for the maintenance account? I see a lot of trucks on the road around Carolina's and Virginia that are grey without the stripe on them what is your truck number so I can talk to you on the CB?

Ya know whats really funny, DFO has not posted about how much he enjoys going to New York or new jersey since he started this new adventure. I bet they miss u up there D

Quick post because I'm going to sleep now - I'm idling overnight because its like 1* here and I don't want to wake up tomorrow to gelled fuel. Apparently high idle isn't enabled on the ECM on this truck so pressing the buttons on the wheel did nothing. Tried for 30 minutes to find a solution to get it to idle up, including rigging all sorts of crap on the pedal with what I had in the truck. Nothing worked until I found my Lego jeep and took off four flat plates and put them together and then wedged them in between the pedal arm and the plastic on the kick plate under the dash. Perfect 1000 RPM idle. Good enough for me. I couldn't bring myself to let my truck idle at 500 RPM all night as that is just terrible for the engine. Now I can sleep in peace.
Hunter_alexander, JustDoc and Grijon Thank this. -

One more night of idling here in WV... Legos wedged in the pedal this time managed to get it down to 900 RPM - hopefully it'll burn a bit less fuel. I just don't want to chance gelling the fuel right before I get out of this miserable cold. I figure the cost of idling is well worth it compared to the possibility of a roadside service call.
I'll stop through the Charlotte OC tomorrow, I'm headed to Kathleen, GA. I don't think I'll push it to make the delivery tomorrow and will instead aim to make it on the 9th. I may stop in Atlanta tomorrow for the night, its about 40 miles out of route, but, guaranteed parking especially since I'll probably be running later at night. We'll see... can't decide. The biggest plus to going through Atlanta is I can run interstates all the way instead of doing a state highway zigzag through backwoods GA. -
