The best part was calling into SNI and getting the ICA that likes to question everything I do. This one does this a lot. She isn't rude, but likes to second guess the drivers. "You've been home for a while, have you never driven in the snow before"? Uhh I was a company driver for a year and lived in the NE, yeah I've driven in snow. "Oh well I have a 30 mile drive into work in my car in the snow". (Because driving your Honda Civic in the snow is exactly the same as driving a bobtail tractor with 1850 ft/lbs of torque).

I don't deal with the snow because I don't WANT to. I don't HAVE to go anywhere. I can take off as MUCH time as I want. That truck in the driveway has MY name on the title and rolls when and only when _I_ want to. Kiss my sitting by the fire, watching the news seeting I-95 shut down in both directions near Selma NC on TV, nice and toasty ***. Plus, if we get 6" of snow I wanna be here to play in it with the deuce and a half. Priorities, you know? LOL.

Alright, had my fun in the snow, now I'm done. Bring on spring. Went looking for trouble, couldn't find any. Found a tree laying across the road. Ran it over once. Then turned around and came back and got it out of the road. Other than that no excitement.

I hear you. I spent 6 years in the Air Force stationed in NJ. Got my fill of driving in the stuff. Playing in the Osh Kosh snow plows was a blast though.

I grew up in Spartanburg SC so I am familiar with the snow out that way. Wished for it as a kid but now I kind of dread it. The knuckle heads in my part of Texas have no clue about how to drive in it.
