yeah, well, I kinda got that and I'm kind of the same........but we've all had to suck it up a time or two when we jumped into a game where we didn't entirely understand the rules. Its's called being a man, (in the gender definition, not the honor definition......)

 

I would say there were probably people gaming the system, and getting their ICA's to keep a load from hitting the load board to get them home.... and if that's true, GOOD! I play hell getting home some times, if you're an IC then you should INDEPENDENTLY find yourself a load home. (unless a family emergency ,etc...)

 

One time I watched 3 men unload my trailer by hand and it took them 3 hours. I asked them why they didn't palletize the load and he said the pallets take up space they need for the product. I wondered if the extra space was worth the extra labor.

 

Have never asked my Ica to get me any load. I never have an issue getting home if need be I'll bobtail.

 

I'd have done the same thing. Take my good ole time at it too

 

Taking your time on a hand unload kills your 70....... well

 

oops.......yeah, well, now that you mention it, I guess I really should have been logging 'on duty'......dang. Duly noted.......next time I'll remember that.
