I considered it, but like Dipschitt said I probably wouldn't have been any better off. And he was right, I watched to load board as I waited just looking for a reason to kick myself for not getting pulled off of it, and nothing any better came up so I guess I'm glad I waited it out. Apparently a 3rd party carrier picked this load up and brought it to the OC and that's why there were never any updates on the load, not even a trailer number, had to call and find out what that was. Dunno what was up with that.

This is not my week. Had a load book from early last week that was supposed to pick up this Tuesday.

Got an email Monday morning from my ICA saying the load had cancelled.

Got on the board and found the same load picking up the next day, ok good enough.

Then had 2 more loads booked that gave me a decent start to the week for starting on a Wednesday.

Ended up having the 2 loads I had planned removed again because the first appointment was too tight and I knew there was a chance I would miss it.

Got on the board again and booked a relay out of Carlisle.

On the way to pick up the first load, got an email that the relay load pickup was missed and so they had to pull that from me.

Now I'm in Carlisle with nothing preassigned. At least I got one load down, right?

Yes I do believe with the "upgrade" posting has declined.

I don't post as often but do notice a decline and will probably taper off completely.

    EggoTrucker and moosc Thank this.

I, for one, won't do Facebook. Was hacked once, won't go thru that again.

DFO I've been watching you since you first started driving. I've been driving for 10 months now. It fits for our family and I enjoy it. I'm looking at IC however, I'll have to wait until the wife in out of school and is working so we have health insurance and with her income we won't be so fragile financially speaking. Thank you for your stories, keep'em coming.

Well for me truth is I'm just not on the road as much as I was last year. Definitely not as much to post about when I run the same loads all the time and take more time off.

I don't mind the new forum upgrade, I haven't had too many problems with it.

The upgrade is just fine. It's just a matter of getting used to. Actually, I think everyone will like it better once they use it for a while.

"What are we going to do tonight Brain?"

"The same thing we do every night Pinky, try to take over the world!"

Post count has been drifting downward in our little corner for a while. DFO, Sadwar, Dogal are all settled into their IC lifestyle, us company drivers keep working for THE MAN, and the last "permanent new guys" (ie those who don't disappear after attending orientation) were WarHippy and Softtail, who are almost a year old. SNI hasn't had any radical policy changes to get our undies bunched up and we're all so used to the typical SNAFUs that nobody complains about them much.

We need to introduce a new, young, cute character into the plot to liven things up. Or take a group vacation to Hawaii or Hollywood.
