Good luck to you with whatever you choose to do. Stop by the forum from time to time, when you feel up to it. Your experience is invaluable and you are a master storyteller.

A buddy of mine came down with exactly what you described, down to a T. It just him this year and he's never had any symptoms before. His brain just suddenly switched gears. I have it as well, but mine spirals into depression, but I've learned how to spot it and how to deal with it early. It still gets the better of me sometimes, but I know I just need to go back to my truck and stay there until it passes.

I wish you the best, Buddy. You have been a guiding light to a lot oF people and you're a great guy, to boot. I'm going to miss your adventures and your commentary.
I wish you successful healing in this battle

Brother, deal with those issues and come out when you and only you have that confidence back. I do empathize with ya, dealt with it after losing my driver in an IED on the other side of the pond. Still an issue with me today. You have the common sense (unfortunately not all of us do) to know when the time is right. Be safe and don't be afraid to ask for help
