they used to not allow a certain make. can't remember which one it was. also they check for wear and king pin movement when jaws are locked. no more than 1/16 or 1/8 of an inch. not sure about height. mine is 46".

 

Like kenworth said...they only allow certain brands. I can't remember which one.

 

What year is your new truck?

 

If you have a Holland plate your jaw adjustment rod facing the cab needs to be protected for high pin. I seem to remember Schneider having a replacement plate that had a formed lip over the jaw adjustment rod but that was about 9 years ago.

If you're running 11R24.5 tires it's going to be close for height and it's all dependent on the height of your 5th wheel riser. Schneider should have spec's with maximum 5th wheel height.

 

If you send the pin over the 5th wheel more than once ........ Well you know.
