2:35 Things are going to crap and the truck out front should well have known it, but 2:45 sealed the deal.

I drive the south, and I drive at night, avoiding all the dingleberries..who are parked stupid on the shoulder and other places.

It is really hard to tell on this one. The truck in front of the camera truck was apparently tailgating the pickup that caught the nasty. Why did the pickup slow in such a hurry? Was Dingleberry ahead of him? Typical chain reaction

Here’s my take on the second video. The driver in the red truck is the “dumaz” because every other word out of his mouth is #### and he is talking during Sweet Home Alabama. “Dingleberries” is the white Volvo who rear ended the pickup, I assume it was a Russian flip flop or track suit malfunction. “Stupid” is the guy in the Cascadia tailgating, knowing his truck will disintegrate if he has a wreck.
Oh, and the guy in the Maroon 379 extended hood? He’s “Mr.Stylin and Profilin” -
Blue lights. Lots of blue lights. What does Dumaz do when he sees the disco lights? You know Dumaz, the guy that looks straight ahead 25-50 ft. What does Dumaz do when he sees blue lights? Or construction barrels? Or a wreck on the other side of the highway? Or a school bus on the frontage road?Anyone? It’s an automatic thing.
Dingleberry is a dingleberry because he is ALWAYS tailgating someone’s arse. If you can’t stop in the distance you are following, guess what? Stupid gets involved because he knows better but chooses to do something wrong. When does the situation become dangerous? For me, it was when I could no longer see what’s ahead. I was looking for Dumaz.
Remember, on the highway, as soon as you recognize Dumaz and Dingleberry in close proxy, something bad is about to happen. It just so happens that you couldn’t because of the heavy traffic.
What’s the safest thing to do? Remove yourself from the equation.skellr, Lepton1, rolls canardly and 1 other person Thank this. -
I literally just came out of a defensive driving course (having an adult beverage right now to celebrate). I never realized just how bad some of these drivers really are (no signals, speeding, poor space management, poor lane control etc). I guess I never really noticed being that I spend the majority of my time driving on rural roads and in small towns. This is one of the first times I've driven in a huge city. Definite eye opener for sure.

You know this thread should be the first thing a new driver is forced to read on here, before being allowed to ask if they should work for Werner or Western Express

Pile up on I80. What we have here is a lack of communication!
I remember back in the days before cell phones every driver in these conditions had their CB on and was communicating.
Lepton1 Thanks this.
