Rolling with the flow is one thing.....that flow being a river with banjo music is quite another!

Just hitting the land of 55
Got our load from south to north... Going to drop in Rocklin then see if the Freightliner dealer in Stockton will be able to trace down our starter problem QUICKLY!! If not it might come down to dropping it SLC again and doing the loaner truck... Sigh... But either way, the main thing is we are ROLLING!! We got our 'safety' bonus (even with the guy backing up into me), but not an 'on-time' bonus... GRRR! One 'late' load... That is all I could find in our 'reviews'... And if there even was one, it would have been on THEIR side because of scheduling!! Like the 4 stopper we were given on a Friday, with no appt. made and our DM gone for the weekend!! Yeah... That was the last fleet we were on... SO glad we aren't with 'her' any more!!
So anyway... We are rolling and right now, that's all that matters! -
Well it happened... An Officer wanted my autograph... Just because I wasn't in the far right lanes going up a hill (the Grapevine)... Instead I was going 55 mph around two trucks that were going 25 mph up said hill... Sigh... OK... Let the ribbing begin...

Enroll in a drivers legal plan. They've been amazing with me on a BS ticket I got. They got mine amended to a non moving with no mvr reporting.

I wish I could claim it was BS... I wasn't impeding traffic... There was the fast lane available for cars... I know better than being in THAT lane... There were 5 open lanes, and I was in the middle one! He had me, I wasn't in the right two lanes... I would have taken being yelled at for it, instead I got a yellow slip... Lord only knows what it will cost me... At least it wasn't in a construction zone!!

Our new favorite Freightliner dealer... The one near Stockton... We can now shut off our truck and start it back up again!! Woo Hoo!!

Woo Hoo! We have done a complete loop with no truck problems... We had to push hard, but got to all stops on time. And the bonus (besides the steady miles) is we get to do a 34 weekly AT HOME!! Not a whole lot of time, but more than we thought we could have and still be OTR. So just getting done with this last 34, heading to GA this time (was PA). We were able to do the laundry and cooking in a REAL kitchen... LOL! Also not having to get dressed to head to the bathroom... LOL... It's the little things in life

I really strongly dislike thieves!! Taking something that doesn't belong to you is despicable!! Our two 52oz Bubba Kegs WERE on the restroom counter waiting to be cleaned then filled, then were no longer there when I came out of the stall!! SO TICKED!! We work hard for what we have... GRRR! It was the Pilot @ Refinery on 40 in New Mexico.

Sorry to hear that, Lady K.
I've left mine on the counter a couple of times. Gave that up. Now, it escorts me into the stall. Finding a spot to put them down can be a problem.Lady K Thanks this.
