LOL... It wasn't too bad... And we don't eat out much any more, so it really was a treat :D We do most of our food in the truck... Cooking and eating.

Interesting time in ATL this week... Unload went fine, backed up to dock for reload at 0400... Laid down to wait because it usually takes a bit... Our appt is at 0700, so we are use to waiting on the reload... However it's been getting longer and longer... This time it was going on to 1300, so started heading to the receiving office to get an ETA... While walking in the parking lot a nice dressed gentleman said hello, and asked "so how are you doing?"... I had no idea who he was, but answered honestly, "frustrated"... He asked why, and I told him nicely... Then found out he was the General Manager!!

Got his direct extension AND the dock manager came out and apologized! Got his extension too! Hehehe...

Now if we can get out of there at a decent time, we can get home in the morning instead of the afternoon... That would give us almost two days at home... That would be awesome!!

All I can say is WOW. Hope it puts the burner under them in the future. It seems to be at some places that they are really not very happy with their jobs.

Thanks for the updates, and the map. That brings back a memory. A few years back the wife and I was at Project Shoal and jumped over the Pony Express traces and stopped at Fort Churchill before taking the county rd along the Carson (river) to Dayton. That was the bad day our vacation ended we had to drive the hard-face home to the 9 to 5 at the coal mine. :)

Check engine light checked... It's the DEF filter this time... The shop does have one in stock and we are in line to get it worked on. They say 1000 tomorrow they can start on the 5hr job... But they 'might' be able to work us in tonight... IF we don't do this now we MIGHT be able to make it to CO or even to CA, but it would be a crap shoot that we wouldn't de-reg on the freeway and we would need to be towed to a shop... Sigh...
