Yep, it fell through... We were detained because of other late trucks and unloading, the load that was arraigned for us had to be covered, so here we sit... So, if you would like to share your source, we would say thank you

Pulling a load from Reno to S.CA ... Backed up to the door as I type!! Wasn't able to talk to FT, but did talk to a gentleman named Robert. He might even have another when we unload in S.CA... LOL! This is will now be the fifth dry load we've hauled... Remind me why we purchased a reefer??

 

Load #44... We actually got a reefer load!! LOL! Yep it still works

S.CA to Reno, NV ... Need to get the truck in to get the DEF filter changed... We have 750K on the truck, and this will be the second filter. Not bad... Rather do preventive, than a repair! That's why we are heading north again... Got a couple brokers actually calling us!! Liking that!

Well that is the up date for now... BOL is ready...

 

Our first filter needed that (lights and almost shut down) done (350K miles), but we were in the middle of a load. We didn't have time to wait for it to be sent out and shipped back. So we got a new one, since of course they didn't have any 'reconditioned' ones available, and used our old one as a core. This time we are aiming to NOT be under a load, and are going to make sure they have a 'reconditioned' one available. So it will/should only take a full day, instead of a week!!

 

Even for a Freightliner? We will keep that in mind, but there are a couple other little stuff we need to get at Freightliner as well... Air fittings (for the splitter off of the transmission) for example, ours has developed a small leak. Plus we know them, and they know us... We use the Freightliner dealer in French Camp... DO NOT use the FL dealer in Sacramento!! Read back in the thread almost two years ago for those details... <shutter>

 

Air leak fixed (Klingon did that one) and had the DEF filter pulled and ash tested. <0.5" of ash, so we are good to go!! Cost some $$, but now we have peace of mind! So now we are headed from Minden, NV to Phoenix, AZ. The broker called us when he asked later for an ETA and we let him know we usually build in 'get lost time', so we will be on-time. He goes I know, that's why I use you. That made me feel good!
