Man, that brings back memories. I grew up in S. California and used to go skiing up there every year.

I can get very windy through that area. A little further east is Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Yucca Valley, etc. I'm sure you'll be driving through there a lot. There's a reason for all the windmills that you see, because of all the wind. :)

    Klingon Thanks this.

Wow! The snow must have really knocked down the smog for you to be able to see the mountains like that around Fontana! That's usually rare! Hell I never saw Mt. Jarupa for the first 10 times I went to Fontana and it was across the street from the terminal!

orion3814 and The Challenger Thank this.

Klingon said (when the picture was taken) that the wind was REALLY blowing and COLD!! So it might have blow the smog out :)

    Today is done... Wed.
Tomarrow morning I have my 75 minute drive test. When/if I pass it, I'll be done and just waiting for a trainer...
I am setting on the floor right now with my notebook on a trash can in the laundry room in the hotel.... going to try to start off the trip right.

Happy Dance.... Happy Dance... I have my CDL... Happy Dance... Happy Dance...

Now I'm waiting for my trainer....

The Driving test wasn't too bad. I did get close to one curb but it was either Hit a car, miss the curb and get DQ'd or miss the car, take a chance on missing the curb so I took a shot and made it....

So anyway now I wait for a trainer... one thing that I'm worried about is, there are some guys that have been waiting now for 2 weeks for their trucks. Couple of them got off of their training back before Christmas....
    I'll check back later...
