Welcome to our adventure!! <waving!> This forum is the best source of info! The folks are great and will answer even the most basic questions. Its almost like a HUGE family :D I think I'm addicted - LOL! I would love to start meeting some of the folks that are on the forum - now THAT would be a bit of a challenge - like ping pong balls in a bingo machine trying to meet up :biggrin_25523:...

If you start your own thread - then others can follow your travels :biggrin_255: I would love to read about how you guys are doing!!

Well I'm gonna hi-jack Klingon and LadyK's thread a minute to address this question.

There are two ways you can use 1 shower credit for 2 people.

    1) Tell the cashier you need a co-driver shower and they should give you a ticket for a seperate shower without charging you any more points or any cash.

    2) Ask the cashier or someone in the shower area that's cleaning/restocking for an extra towel and both use the one shower.

We usually opt for number 2 unless we are in a rush :)

Not quite.. it's one shower for every 50 gallons or more. You don't get 5 shower for filling your tanks. You get one

Sounds like a hard grind, and I know from reading the thread that you and your wife have put heart and soul into it. However it comes out, thanks for posting up your experiences; wannabes and newbies need to hear the unvarnished truth!

The nice thing about showering at truck stops is you have never have to clean the bathroom! Of course that could also be the motto of some employees that work there!
