Well, we have almost finished our first run as a team.
We are about 30 miles from or #2
I'll have to call them in a few minutes to see what time we can get there...
Every thing went pretty good on the trip here, no real problems except, getting hit in the windsheild with some ice and cracking it, a battery is going bad so the hardwired power inverter will not work. Other than that, everything is going pretty good.
LadyK's leg is getting a LOT better. I should be completely heald in the next few days....
Well, off the the little truckers room and then I'm calling the consignee to deliver...

LOL - what Klingon said
I've been 'setting up house' in the morning - taking a nap - then driving in the evening. So far the schedule seems to be working out. K wakes up to help me park when I've driven enough for the evening (I'm tired by then - and with him out there helping me - MUCH better for my peace of mind - and everyone elses trucks - LOL)... he is outside now (his shift) doing the delivery thing at our #2 - next stop is our #99 - then for a trailer wash out and heading to our #1. I'm glad it is preloaded - that way we aren't rushed for these 'nursery' deliveries
I'm inside doing the 'housekeeping/office work'... I'm really enjoying this!! The lifestyle might not be for everyone - and if I was out here by myself - I can't see me enjoying it. However, I'm not by myself and I'm having a great time!! Its hard to imagine that I'm even getting paid for a long road trip with my husband - <grinning ear to ear> - yeah I'm liking this!!
thePUNISHER, Trilleth, The Challenger and 1 other person Thank this. -

Congrats Lady K and Klingon!
You guys watch out for one another and stay safe.
Lady K, I hope your leg gets better, quickly, so you and Klingon can enjoy your time on the road with one less distraction. -

so little time!! We actually made it 'home'... but with friends and family coming by - not getting the 'stuff' done we NEED to get done - LOL! So good to see friends and family though...
I REALLY like our new DM... well new for Klingon anyway. Actually worked to get us home and to give us a day more than expected. So tomorrow we leave and head to Washington via Stockon, CA.
Sorry for not many updates and replies - we are still working out driving/working schedules between the two of us... I am REALLY liking this 'job' though -
Well we did our good deed for the day - and hopefully something others will think of doing if possible and safe to do. We noticed a Central truck broke down along I-5 NB just outside of Woodland CA. So we stopped - belt broke - and she had already called it in and was waiting for the service truck. However we remember reading on here of someone that broke down outside of sat or cell service and watched as multiple trucks went by. (not sure if they were Central trucks or not) So if safe - it is a nice thing to do - just to make sure everything is OK and under control.
Well we are pulling out to a rest stop for dinner (beef tenderloin and roasted brocolli) so we'll be back later after dinner -
You two are "Road Angels".
