Then if 10% of the loads are at $2.75/m.....That's not an average....That's the top of the range....
I on occasion get $3/m loads......That doesn't mean I average $3/m......

There used to be some guys on here that NEVER took a load for less than 3.00/mile and usually got 4.00 a mile,,, I havent seen them comment on here in a looooong time. If i could avg 2.00 / mile for all miles inclueding all deadhead i would buy another truck and trailer and become filthy rich.LittleDave Thanks this. -
Any suggestions on where an experienced H/W team can find decent rates.
-
It takes just as long to tarp and secure load going 30 miles as it does for another load going 1500 miles...... -
When I speak of avg rate per mile, I'm talking about from the time you start moving your truck until the time it finishes. I don't care if it was deadhead, loaded, or empty. My OVER-ALL avg. is what I refer to as my avg. rate per mile, and yes the fuel is included as well.
Speak now or forever hold your piece.......... -
Alright...who the hell in this day and age of obamanomics is "averaging" $3/m and does that running 2000+ a week?

For me....grossing $14-16k monthly as a single pony O/O....is doable but it is a struggle at times......

Cause I want in, Hell with those rates I will pay you to let me in. LOL -
