I'm not a reefer tugger.....but almost anything that can fit in a dry van can go into a reefer....but not visa versa....Obviously a load of yellow onions can go by "Top Tarped" flats.....dry van, and reefer....but red/purple onions need temperature control otherwise they'll rot.......

Medicine Man hauled a load of paint in his reefer and IIRC....the temp couldn't dip below a certain point....Remember...a reefer can "run" both ways.......

Now a little education on the boards.....

I won't mention the the load board because the people who posted it are part of a larger organization....

They posted a load from PORT HUENEME,CA to
YERINGTON, NV.....But if you went to the link....The load was not two stops but three...But you got paid for the "named" stops....another broker "trick".....Watch for that....

" OPTIMUS PRIME " Thanks this.

    LS is Landstar.......

You can either 'run' for them or have a freight agreement like I do with them...

Most of the LS loads I get are good to great.......

I also try to go "direct".....but as a single pony O/O...that gets tough since most shippers want "One phone call"......Not fifty...that's why there's brokers and load boards......

I have hauled a few landstar loads, but try to go direct both ways. I have found just being friendly and asking and leaving a business card has gone a long way to building up a customer base.

How the hell can you run a company when 3/4 of you don't know the meaning of AVERAGE!

I get $2mi on my produce hauls and I get get $1.50 on my brokered hauls back then the AVERAGE for two loads is $1.75.

You don't AVERAGE one load the definition of AVERAGING is to add up multiple points then divide by that number. You can have a two load average or a ten load average but you can not have a one load average.... ####### dummies

Yup...that's why when someone posts they make $3/m average..my mission is to either have them prove it or shut up........

The loads should be at $3/m...but then again I wish I was rich and didn't have to work too......
