You an have a pet weighing up to 45 pounds. You have to pay a pet deposit of $500.00 taken out $50.00 each settlement. If there is no pet damage when you turn your truck in you will get $250.00 back.

You need to fill out an application and have your truck inspected. They will give you a pet sticker for your door.

An "S" corp. is taxed at your "individual" rate. The "C" corp. is at a different rate and requires more paperwork etc.
The best way to go is an LLC (Limited Liability Company). You get a shield (protection with regard to liability) and are taxed at the "Individual" rate.
Ask any bookeeper, accountant etc. and they can explain. It is really quite straight forward. Good luck.

Nope. If you are the driver AND the LLC, there's no liability protection. Any self-respecting attorney would sue BOTH the company and the driver in a lawsuit.
Now if you have an employee driving the truck, that isn't you? Then there's some personal liability protection.

I'm confused about that lease deal. Do ya drive it for a year THEN do the lease for a year? Or do ya throw a $1000 at them after one year is up and the truck is yours?

A lease program with Anderson is for one your, there is nothing down, you will have weekly payment for 50 weeks, the first two are free, (52 weeks in a year), at the completion you will receive a completion bonus of $3,200.00. You have the option of buying your truck at this time. When you first sign your lease you are told what the buyout on the truck will be. The 50 week lease payment is different for each truck, depending on its value.

You can do this over and over, there is no limit on how many time you can lease.

After you complete at least one lease, you have the option of an entirely different type of lease. The Capitol Lease. You can keep the truck you were originally in or get another truck. Depending on the value of the truck and its mileage, you will pay an initial payment. Have weekly payments and a buyout payment at the end of the lease. This lease can be one year or several years. Each payment, initial, weekly and buyout will be different for each truck depending on several factors.

The $1,000.00 buyout you were asking about was my deal and only my deal base on the value of my truck and because it had over 600,000 miles they would only do the lease for one year. So, my initial payment was higher than most, the weekly payments were higher, based on the value of the truck and my initial payment and my limit of one year (50 weeks, the first two are free,) then my $1,000.00 buyout.

I cannot stress enough that each Capitol Lease will be different.

    CPH Thanks this.

    ok, thanks!
    Next question.

In your opinion, what is the quality of the trucks being offered?

    You know what I mean....

Some companies want a pretty penny for rigs that will need major component repair/rebuild at lease completion, if not sooner(aka; junk trucks), thereby necessitating large capital expenditures on your part or leasing another truck!

They do not delibertly give you a truck needing major work. They inspect them and catch what they can. You have a 30 day unlimited warranty on your truck. That 30 days is firm and you must get it into a shop before the 30 days is up. Some trucks are still under the factory warranty. The drive train is for the life of your lease.

Having said that all that, who knows how the driver before you treated his truck. It is a mixed bag and you are taking your chances. Inspect your potential truck thoroughly, make use of the 30 day warranty and keep your maintenance up.

it's just like buying anything used.

Like Terry stated take advantange of the 30 day warranty.
Better than the used trk. lot on the corner.

I have met drivers that have had good response with the warranty issues, just do not report it on day 31.. Knowing you had issues on day 15.
